In this, the artist’s third and much anticipated solo show with Solomon, award winning artist Cléa van der Grijn presents a series of new paintings inspired by Lewis Carroll’s iconic novel Alice in Wonderland that explore ideas around personality disorders, addiction and the path towards recovery.

The artist says: 'These new works signify a process orientated philosophy engaging the viewer with the concept of deconstruction. Demonstrating uncoordinated compositions deliberately revealing traces of use, whereby the nature of their materiality is brought to the foreground'.

In addition to the exhibition, the gallery is delighted to present a special private screening of FLUX, a new and ambitious film work also written and directed by the artist. This will take place at a ‘finissage’ reception to mark the end of the exhibition on Saturday 20 November.  Details to follow.
