MARGO BANKS: WALKING BACKWARDS

23 July - 14 August 2021

In this new series of works Banks responds to the evolution of the natural environment of Ireland over millennia. Looking at the Irish landscape and fauna in terms of its declining biodiversity, the work celebrates what has endured and what has been lost.

Solomon Fine Art is delighted to host the second and much anticipated solo exhibition of works by Margo Banks. The exhibition will include a range of Banks’s popular large-scale mixed-media studies of Irish wildlife which capture the freedom, autonomy and sense of otherness enjoyed by creatures of the wild.
