This piece plays on the contradiction of glass displayed as a brick wall panel. The glass ‘cubes’ are blown into a mold and sandblasted to present a visceral and almost sublime surface that appears to float, depending on the light in the room. I am also interested in creating a rectilinear form with hard corners when the material in more commonly presented in the spherical formation.
