In 2020 she was shortlisted for the prestigious John Moore's Painting Prize (National Museums Liverpool, UK) and her work was exhibited online at the Contemporary Irish Arts Centre, Los Angeles.
O'Donnell's work is held in both private and public collections including the OPW State Art Collection and the RCSI, Dublin.
*Formerly known as Melissa O'Faherty, the artist decided in March 2023 to revert to her original family name O'Donnell. Her new website is coming soon, or you can find her on Instagram here: odonnellartist_melissa
