Puppet Show, 2017
Vida Pain is a Roscommon based artist, who received a B.A in Fine Art (Hons) Degree from GMIT (Glaway, Mayo Institute of Technology) in 2009. In the time since Vida has secured multiple curated solo shows around Ireland and Northern Ireland.
In 2009, Vida was selected for the RDS Student Award Exhibition/touring show, RHA Annual Exhibition 2010/2011, Custom House Studios solo show 2013, Rua Red Summer group Show 2011/2013, Boyle Arts Festival and The Source Arts Centre, Thurles. In 2016 Vida received the Roscommon Visual Artist Forum Award, which included a modest bursary for a solo show.
Recent selected group shows include the Solomon Fine Art Summer and Winter Group Exhibitions, Boyle Arts Festival and the RHA 2017.
