We were hugely honoured to welcome President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins and Mrs Sabina Higgins to the gallery to formally open John Behan's solo show 'The Way It Is'.
The exibition comprises 23 new works in bronze, mostly around the subject of the invasion of Ukraine and the wider issue of migration in the Mediterranean. Other subjects include two bronzes inspired by the pems of Seamus Heaney - plus Behan's iconic Famine Ships and Bulls.
