View works

Solomon Fine Art is delighted to host an exhibition of new work by celebrated Irish sculptor John Behan.

Following on from his 2018 exhibition The Seven Ages of Man the work in this new exhibition continues with themes and imagery which depict the plight of current day migrants and refugees. Over the past two years Behan has made frequent visits to Athens to volunteer at Camp Eleonas, a Greek state-run centre for migrants arriving into Europe from Iraq, Syria and sub-Saharan Africa.  The forthcoming exhibition here at the Solomon will include new works made in response to these experiences alongside examples of his now-iconic Famine Ships.
